🌟 Settling In It’s been a little over a week since I arrived in Semenyih, and wow, what a journey! At first, everything felt unfamiliar, but now I’m starting to really like this place. Here’s a beautiful pic of the campus entrance~ 📸✨ 🌟 Disastrous Start My stay at UV got off to a wild beginning—on the second day, the kitchen pipe burst! 😱 Curry wastewater from the girl next door seeped under my door, leaving my room smelling like a spice bazaar. 🍛💦 Not exactly the welcome I expected… 🌟 UV Chronicles Met some of UV’s "local residents" (aka critters 🐜), and can we talk about the Wi-Fi? 📶 It’s barely functional, and my phone signal is a joke—one or two bars max. Note to self: Move back on campus next year. 🌟 Pool Troubles Played pool with new friends at UV, but the pockets are ridiculously large compared to Chinese-style tables. Both the colored balls and the white ball keep sinking—what kind of trickery is this? 😅🎱 🌟 Chill Intro Week The intro schedule seems pretty relaxed so far, but maybe that’s because I haven’t finalized my courses yet. Let’s see how long this peace lasts… 🌟 Weekend Adventure @ IOI Bored over the weekend, so a friend and I took the shuttle to IOI. The ice rink was packed! ⛸️ Skated a few rounds, and now my calves are dead—these skates are literal torture devices. 🌟 Foodie Highlight Shoutout to Ole Ole Bali! 🍽️ Tried their Grilled Chicken Chop (33 MYR) with fries, watermelon, and a special salad. The presentation and ambiance were on point—totally worth it! Verdict: Delicious! 😋 🌟 Question for Seniors What’s the deal with the Mid-Autumn Festival activities? 🎑 Would love some details! 🌟 Final Thoughts Came a bit early, so many classmates are still sorting out visas. The campus is kinda remote, but the shuttle buses are a lifesaver—*10/10* for convenience! 🚌 More updates on classes next week.
