Go before 6 PM. After 6 — book ahead or wait an hour. 3️⃣ Cheese Soufflé @ FEBO Savory fried cheese — tastes like a cheesy scallion pancake. Great for a quick energy boost! 4️⃣ Dutch Cheese @ HENRI WILLIG The Dutch know cheese 🧀️ — rivaling the French! Free tasting — loved the beer-flavored one 🍺 5️⃣ Herring Sandwich @ VOLENDAMMER VISHANDEL The Dutch know fish 🐟🐟🐟 Served with onions and pickles — soft, fresh, delicious. ⚠️ This is a small local joint — avoid if sensitive to fishy smells or street food. 6️⃣ Fries with Dual Mayo-Peanut Sauce A small portion is enough — it’s still just fries 🍟, but worth a try! 7️⃣ Fried Fish & Smoked Eel Skip the fried fish (too salty), but the smoked eel is rich and buttery. Perfect in a sandwich! 8️⃣ Chocolate Cookie @ VAN STAPELE The only store in the world — you’ll regret skipping it, but it’s still… a cookie.
