🇳🇿 Auckland Day Trip: Exploring Hamilton in One Day! 🚗💨

Spent the first day of my holiday on a quick road trip to Hamilton—just 2 hours round trip from Auckland! Super convenient. 🌸 Hamilton Gardens Visited off-season (not many flowers blooming 😂), but still absolutely stunning! The themed gardens (Japanese, Indian, Renaissance) were so well-designed. Definitely coming back in spring! 🚗 Classic Car Museum A hidden gem for car lovers! 🏎️ Vintage Mustangs, retro Fords, even old-school petrol pumps—felt like stepping into a 1950s time capsule. The attached café serves decent coffee too! 🥟 Chongqing Flavors Heard their steamed buns are legendary (apparently better than Auckland's?!). Tried the milk-scented buns—so fluffy! Bought extras to take home. 🍞✨ 🏡 Cambridge Town A quiet, picturesque little town with boutique shops. The highlight? A craft brewery inside a converted old church! 🍺⛪ Tried their IPA—smooth with a nice hoppy finish. 🌅 Hamilton Lake (Lake Rotoroa) Ended the day here for sunset views—the sky turned pink and gold over the water. Perfect spot for a peaceful walk or picnic!
