Booked for the window views, but the public areas completely stole the show! Autumn in Wanaka is absolutely breathtaking—every glance is pure magic. 🍂 📍 Perfect lakeside location (easy walking distance everywhere) 🍁 Golden leaves carpeting the lawn, crisp autumn air swirling them around—so romantic! 😭 Only regret? We stayed just one night—arrived at dusk, slept, had breakfast, and left. Didn’t even have time to fully soak in this paradise! Next NZ trip? I’m coming BACK for you, Edgewater! 💛 Before coming to New Zealand, I read many guides saying Wanaka wasn’t worth staying in.
