🅿️ Free parking | 🕙 *Open daily 9AM-5PM* 2️⃣ Taupo McDonald's (World's Coolest Macca's!) ✈️ 🍔 Lunch in a REAL DC-3 plane! 📸 Super quirky for photos (but no AC inside—sweaty fries alert! 🤣) 3️⃣ Lake Taupo 🏞️ 🚶‍♀️ *5-min walk from McDonald's* 🌊 Largest lake by surface area in the Southern Hemisphere (616km²)! 📷 Insanely photogenic—perfect for sunset (we missed it, sadly! 🌄) 4️⃣ Huka Falls 🌊 💙 Turquoise rapids roaring at 220,000L per second! 😱 The power is terrifying (imagine falling in—yeeted downstream instantly!). 🚤 Jet boat rides available for thrill-seekers! 5️⃣ Wharewaka Point 🌅 Last-minute sunset spot (we caught the afterglow—still pretty!). 🦆 Ducks paddling + serene lakeside vibes. ⚠️ Road Trip Tips: Leave early (NZ roads get pitch-black after dark—no streetlights! 🚨).
