π³πΏ Relaxing Moments in Wanaka
On the way back from Mount Cook to Wanaka, I stopped by a famous salmon spot ππβ you can literally set your GPS to Mount Cook Alpine Salmon πΊοΈ. Fun fact: New Zealand salmon is freshwater-raised ποΈ, the same type as in Xinjiang, China β and it tastes absolutely premium ππ―. But the best part is the vibe πΏπ: you can sit right by Lake Pukaki, enjoy insane views, and eat amazing salmon at the same time ποΈπ£β€οΈ. I skipped the so-called Lone Tree of Wanaka π³π«β¦ and honestly? I donβt recommend it either π. Itβs not even that lonely β and definitely not worth flying thousands of miles just for a photo π΅βοΈ. Instead, I highly recommend paddle boarding or kayaking on Lake Wanaka π£ββοΈπ! Itβs around 60 NZD per person per hour π°π, and let me tell you β itβs worth every dollar π₯Ήπβ¨! #SouthIslandNZ #Wanaka #WanakaVibes #TravelSlow #NewZealandDiary ππΈ
