🇳🇿 Rotorua - A City That's Full of Character (and Smells!)

Rotorua has been the highlight of my North Island trip! This geothermal wonderland is packed with unique experiences—here's how I spent my unforgettable day: 🌋 Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland ✅ Must-see geothermal park! 🌈 Colorful hot springs, bubbling mud pools & surreal landscapes. Took Route 2 (~1.5hr walk) – but wow, that sulfur smell is strong! 🐑 Agrodome Farm Show 🇳🇿 Dreamed of a NZ farm? This is it! ✂️ Sheep shearing show + hilarious audience participation (E-people, sit front row!). Farm tour: Feed photogenic sheep & taste honey (not Manuka, sadly). 🚡 Skyline Rotorua 🌄 Panoramic views + adrenaline rush! 🛷 Rode the Luge down – so fun we almost missed dinner! ♨️ Polynesian Spa 💫 Soaked under the stars in their public pools (8 thermal baths!). Post-hike bliss – my soul (and muscles) thanked me. 🏡 Te Puia Māori Village 🔥 Cultural must-do! Traditional performances + geothermal sights. The haka gave me chills – 100% worth waking up early for! 🤔 Why "A City Full of Smells"? From hot springs to our Airbnb, that distinctive sulfur scent followed us everywhere.
