🇳🇿 Solo Road Trip in NZ's South Island? DON'T BE SCARED!

Originally wanted to join a tour, but most don't include glacier hiking 🧊 or just visit places I'm not into (hello, type-J efficiency!). So—SOLO IT IS! ✔️ ✈️ Day 1: SYD → Christchurch Chose Emirates (comfy!) + Christchurch to ease into right-hand driving. Landed 2PM → customs → rental car → Airbnb by 4PM. Airbnb: Epic views at Clifton (📍8081). Sunset plans ruined by clouds... ☁️ Dinner at Amazonia (📍126 Oxford Terrace): Tasty but salty for my taste. Parking hack: Street park at 📍79 Cambridge Terrace. 🚗 Day 2: Christchurch → Lake Tekapo 🗺️ Route Tip: Add Rakaia Scenic Lookout! +15min but worth the detour . ☕ Astro Café: $8 entry (card ok) → windy AF (held my coffee for dear life!). Views? 10/10. Closes at 3PM! 🌌 Stargazing Tour: Booked Chameleon Stargazing (Chinese guide!). Laser pointers + telescopes + hot choc & marshmallows 🔥. They even took starry photos for us! (RIP my tripod 😂). Aurora alert: Check weather—missed it by a day 😭. 🐑 Church of the Good Shepherd: Overhyped in daylight (tiny + crowded). Go at night for moody vibes! #NZTravel #SoloTravel #SouthIslandNZ #RoadTrip #LakeTekapo #Stargazing #NoRegrets
