Along this calmer road, you’ll pass through Cromwell — the tiny fruit town 🍒🍓🍑! We stopped at Jackson’s Fruit Stall 🧺🌸, a dreamy pink shed selling fresh fruits and berry-mix ice cream 🍦😋. Thanks to NZ’s abundant sunshine ☀️, the cherries are huge, sweet, and juicy — I bought a kilo and snacked all the way! 🍒❤️ There are two routes from Queenstown 🚗 to Wānaka: One is the shorter but more thrilling Crown Range Road 🏔️👑 — famous for its insane views AND its heart-attack-level sharp bends! ❤️ It’s like driving on an ECG graph 😵. Since we had just picked up our rental car (right-hand drive 🧪🚗) and only my husband was driving (honeymoon mode 💍👨🦸), … After about 2 hours with pit stops ⏱️🧳, we reached Wānaka — the stunning lakeside town wrapped in dreamy blue waters 💙🏞️.
