🇵🇪 Peru Trip｜Pre-Travel Tips + Lima 1-Day Itinerary

⚠️ Important Notes: 1️⃣ Uber in Lima is unreliable – Drivers often cancel, and traffic is terrible! 🚗💨 Always leave early! 2️⃣ Packing: 20°C weather – T-shirt + light jacket (but pack warm layers for mountains!) 🧥 3️⃣ Flight Hack: Online check-in is a MUST – Otherwise, pay 40 soles extra at the counter! 💸 My flight to Cusco was overbooked (moved to 6PM with free meals... so here I am writing this! ✍️) 🌅 My Lima Day Trip ✈️ 3:30AM – Landed at Lima Airport (stayed nearby) 🐱 8:30AM – Kennedy Park (Cat lover’s paradise! 🐈) → Love Park (cliffside views!) 🌊 📸 Coastal walk – So much better than Toronto snow! ❄️➡️☀️ 🍽️ Lunch at Mangos – Ceviche Carretillero (Peru’s "national dish" – tangy & spicy!) + seafood paella 🥘 #Peru #Lima #SouthAmerica #IncaTrail ✈️🌎
