Originally just ducked in to escape the rain β, but this unassuming museum BLEW MY MIND! π€― No wonder it wins all those TripAdvisor awards π Almost didn't get in without reservation - had to beg the ticket lady who finally checked with her manager! π The 1755 earthquake DESTROYED Lisbon π Right when Portugal ruled Europe through gold/silk/porcelain trade π°π and religious fervor was at its peak βͺ. The All Saints' Day quake flattened everything, indirectly sparking the Enlightenment π and city redesign.
