🇵🇹 Porto, Portugal | This City is So Chill! 🍷 A Leisurely Travel Gu
For my Portugal trip, I explored both Lisbon and Porto. In my last post, I shared my Lisbon travel guide— Now, let me take you through my Porto adventures! 🍷 📅 DAY 1 1️⃣ Chapel of Souls (Capela das Almas) – The stunning blue-tiled church (my favorite among Porto’s azulejo churches!). 2️⃣ Clérigos Tower & Church – Admired from outside (didn’t climb the tower). 3️⃣ Lunch @ Santiago – A local taxi driver’s top pick for the famous Francesinha ("Little Frenchie" sandwich). 4️⃣ Porto City Hall – Stopped for a photo with the Porto Sign 📷. 5️⃣ Livraria Lello – The iconic Harry Potter bookstore (tickets must be booked in advance—a must for HP fans!). 6️⃣ Igreja do Carmo – Another beautiful blue-tiled church (right next to Livraria Lello). 7️⃣ McDonald’s Imperial – The world’s most beautiful McDonald’s! 🍔 8️⃣ Dinner @ Brasão Coliseu – A super popular local spot (reservations highly recommended!). 📅 DAY 2 1️⃣ São Bento Train Station – Free entry, famous for its breathtaking azulejo tiles. 2️⃣ Lunch @ Mercado do Bolhão – Fresh seafood, fruits, and local snacks (perfect for a casual meal). 3️⃣ Igreja de Santo Ildefonso – Under renovation when I visited (not much to see). 4️⃣ Palácio da Bolsa – Joined an English-guided tour (advance booking required—no solo exploring). 5️⃣ Serra do Pilar Viewpoint – Sunset spot with panoramic views of the Luís I Bridge 🌉 (we took a Bolt straight to the viewpoint). 6️⃣ Dinner at a riverside restaurant – Just picked a highly-rated one (Porto’s food scene is even better than Lisbon’s—hard to go wrong!). Porto is such a chill city—filled with cozy cafés, stunning riverside views, and a romantic vibe at dusk. 💕 I absolutely loved it here! Stay tuned for my Barcelona travel guide next (I’ll try not to slack off 😆). #PortugalTravel #PortoGuide #PortoFood #PortoSights #TravelDiaries #HiddenTravelGems
