🇵🇹 Porto 2-Day 1-Night Itinerary

🚄 Transport Lisbon → Porto by train (~3.5h, with 2 legs: Lisbon → Porto Campanhã → Porto São Bento). Note: Delays are common (mine was 2 hours late! 😅). Within Porto: All attractions are walkable . 🚊 Day 1 1️⃣ São Bento Station – Iconic tile-covered train station (quick photo stop). 2️⃣ Check-in at Airbnb near City Hall (Fig. 5, walkable from the station). 3️⃣ McDonald's Imperial – Tried the M&M McFlurry (decent!). 4️⃣ Carmo Church + nearby square (Fig. 1 landmark). 5️⃣ Scenic viewpoint + Stock Exchange Palace (en route). 6️⃣ Porto Cathedral (Sé do Porto) – Arrived too late (closed at 6PM), returned next day (€3 to climb the tower). 7️⃣ Santo Ildefonso Church – Visible from the station. 🍽️ Dinner @ Restaurante Abadia do Porto MUST-ORDER: Tripas à Moda do Porto (beef tripe rice, slightly salty but delicious). Pork neck with chestnuts (comes with veggies & fried rice). Staff were super friendly—even asked us to teach them Chinese! 🌄 Sunset at Luís I Bridge Tip: Bring a jacket (windy & cold!). Walk to the Gaia side for sunset at Jardim do Morro—live music, great vibes! ⛪️ Day 2 1️⃣ Chapel of Souls (Capela das Almas) – Deep-blue tiles, perfect for photos (go early to avoid crowds). 2️⃣ Porto Cathedral (Revisited) – No queue in the morning! #Portugal #Porto #TravelGuide #Europe
