🇶🇦 Katara Cultural Village – Not Worth the Hype? 🤔🙅🏻♀️
📍 Katara Cultural Village Qatar Airways describes it as: "A self-proclaimed cultural hub nestled between West Bay’s glittering financial district and The Pearl’s crescent of skyscrapers. With a beach on one side and two Katara Hills on the other, it’s an ideal place for art, culture, and dining—featuring a stunning mosque, galleries, beaches, and trendy cafés." But when I actually visited... Where’s the mosque? The art galleries? The beach? The hip cafés? Was I just following Xiaohongshu check-in trends for nothing? Under the 43°C scorching sun, I nearly melted into a puddle 🫠. By the end, I was too fried to explore further (literally and figuratively) and bolted. My verdict: ✅ Decent for Instagram snaps (if you tolerate heatstroke). ❌ Otherwise, skip it. 🙅🏻♀️ Unless someone tells me I missed hidden gems—but I’m not going back to find out! 🚇 How to Get There Metro Red Line → Katara Station. Exit to a giant red gift-box-shaped building—walk around it to reach the village. Day Pass: 6 QAR (~12 RMB) for unlimited rides. #Doha #KataraCulturalVillage #QatarTravel
