🇷🇺 The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow
Don't Miss It, or You'll Regret It for a Lifetime! The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts is just 1 km from Red Square—literally a stone's throw away after crossing a bridge. 🌉 Here are a few tips to make your visit even better: 1⃣️ Consider purchasing your tickets online in advance. It'll save you a ton of time waiting in line at the entrance. 🕒 2⃣️ The museum has two smaller sections: one focused on Roman sculptures and the other on oil paintings, featuring many depictions of Christ and the Virgin Mary. I opted for the sculpture section, which cost me 650₽. It took about 1.5 hours to explore. 🎨 3⃣️ There's a free 🎹 piano performance around 4 p.m. I caught a bit of it, and it was amazing! The pianist played with such fluidity and emotion—it was like listening to a story. 🎶 4⃣️ Be mindful that you need to exit the museum via the same route you entered. I got lost a few times, but it's all part of the adventure! 🤔 5⃣️ If possible, bring along a Russian-speaking friend or hire a local guide. While many signs are in English, a local can provide deeper insights that you might miss otherwise. 🗣️ 6⃣️ This place is absolutely worth a visit! The admission is super affordable. Next time, I'll definitely check out the other section with paintings by masters like Monet and Van Gogh. I heard they have some incredible originals there. I hope you all get a chance to visit soon! 🌟 #RussianTravel #RussianArtists #RussianMuseums #PushkinMuseumMoscow #PushkinMuseum #MoscowMuseums #MoscowTravel #Moscow #Pushkin
