🇸🇪 A Memorable Encounter in Uppsala

Next to Uppsala Slott, there’s a row of old cannons 🏰—and that black tower beside them is indeed a bell tower! ⛪️🔔 The spot sits high on a hill, offering a stunning panoramic view over the whole city 🌆👀. But the highlight of my day was meeting a PhD student from Uppsala University near the castle! I originally just wanted to ask if he had a power bank since my phone died… and it turned out he’s also from Shandong! 🥹👥 How incredible is that? I worked for years in Chengdu without meeting a single fellow Shandong local—and then I run into one here in Uppsala! I was about to seize the chance and ask him to show me around the university… When suddenly, it started snowing ❄️🌬️. The wind was so strong it gave me a headache almost instantly 😵🥶, so we had to cut it short and head back home.
