πΊπ²[San Francisco] Cable Cars: All the Street Scenery You Want to See
Cable Cars, with a history spanning over 150 years, are iconic transportation in San Francisco, shuttling back and forth between Union Square and Fisherman's Wharf. It's recommended to buy a one-day pass for $13, which allows unlimited rides on buses (including Cable Cars, buses, streetcars, etc.).ππ The most frequently used route: Powell-Mason line. It starts at Powell St & Market St, right next to the BART station and close to Union Square. The endpoint is Taylor St & Bay St, near Fisherman's Wharf.ππ You definitely have to ride a Cable Car because the experience is truly uniqueβit's San Francisco's most signature attraction. Plus, it can serve as your main mode of transportation between downtown and Fisherman's Wharf (you'll understand why it's called a "Clang-Clang Car" once you've ridden it). ππ The most VIP experience on a Cable Car is the "hanging ticket," similar to how some folks in India hang onto trains ππ . If you want to see the best street scenery and take amazing photos, you've got to snag that inside hanging ticket at the very front of the car. That way, you'll have the most unobstructed and central view along the entire main route from downtown to Fisherman's Wharf. So, you know I had to secure that spot, and luckily, I caught the first Cable Car of the dayβcheck out pics 17/18! π€© #Travel #PublicTransportation #SanFrancisco
