🇺🇸🇲🇾 U.S. Travel Guide – Las Vegas 🎰

We spent two days exploring the Strip, staying at Treasure Island Hotel 🏨. Most attractions and hotels along the Strip are within walking distance, connected by skybridges and pedestrian pathways. Only the Welcome Sign is a bit farther — we took a taxi 🚕, but the Deuce bus also goes there! Las Vegas truly is the city that never sleeps 🌃. With its casinos, endless shopping malls, and vibrant energy, it’s the perfect place to unwind and have fun for a few days. Here’s our 3-day, 2-night itinerary 🗓️: We originally planned to visit downtown Fremont Street on the second day after 2 PM, but ended up prioritizing shopping instead 🛍️. Our stay at Treasure Island was generally pleasant, but we faced a hiccup during check-in 😥: We had booked and paid for the hotel (around $3xx) a month in advance through Agoda. However, at check-in, we were told there was an issue with our booking — the payment received by the hotel didn’t match my card number. After checking online, we found out that Agoda sometimes uses different card details for transactions (not sure why, but it’s apparently their standard process). The hotel didn’t recognize the booking, canceled it, and asked us to pay again — this time over $5xx 💸. To make matters worse, the refund from the canceled booking wasn’t automatically returned to my card. Our only option was to contact Agoda for a refund. Though we were pretty nervous (it was our first time experiencing this), we thankfully received the refund a few days later 🙏. We’ve booked many hotels through Agoda and never had this issue before. Another guest at the hotel faced the same situation, so it might be that this particular hotel is extra strict. ⚠️ Take note: be cautious when booking this hotel through third-party platforms! #LasVegas #USA #WorkAndTravel #TravelTips #VegasStrip #VisitVegas #USATravel #TravelGuide
