🇺🇸 4 Must-Try Restaurants in Washington DC – Save This List! 🍽️⭐
After six days and five nights eating my way through the DMV, here are four unforgettable spots in DC you can’t miss! 🍴 Tonari – Japanese-Italian Fusion This place is a hidden gem with incredibly unique dishes. Not too hyped yet – but absolutely delicious! Appetizer: Burrata with citrus sauce and Sichuan chili oil 🧀🌶️ + Inarizushi with marinated anchovies – a perfect salty-sweet combo! Main: Unagi Pizza (get a half order – it’s huge!) 🍕 + Mentaiko Pasta (perfectly balanced, not too heavy) Dessert: Sesame Tea Cake with coconut milk and ice cream 🍰☕ – a dreamy ending! 🍴 Blue Duck Tavern – A classic favorite (apparently one of Obama’s go-tos!) Appetizer: Bone marrow (decent) + daily special roasted sweet potato with mushrooms (sweet and crispy!) Main: Roasted Duck – the breast is super tender! 🦆 Their duck is great for groups. Also tried the juicy Roasted Chicken with cauliflower – great value! 🍴 L’ardente – Authentic Italian, every dish was fresh and light Appetizer: Caesar Salad + Duck Hunt (ravioli stuffed with duck, foie gras, truffle sauce – incredible!) Main: 40-Layer Lasagna 🍝 – the best I’ve ever had. Not heavy, perfectly layered! Dessert: Tiramisu with a boozy kick + flambeed show – a must-order! 🔥 🍴 Baan Siam – The best Thai food in DC (and I’m from California – this is next level!) Their Thai milk tea alone is worth the trip! Appetizer: Chicken Tapioca Dumplings – chewy like mochi with savory filling Main: Everything we ordered was amazing! 😋 Go for the crispy pork (rice or noodles) – so fragrant and crunchy! Spicy level 3 is just right. You can’t go wrong here. Dessert: Coconut Milk Griddle Cakes – soft, sweet, and uniquely delicious! 🥥 Perfect for date nights, food adventures, or treating yourself! 👌 Save this list for your next DC trip! #DCeats #FoodieDC #DMVRestaurants #BestInDC #WashingtonDCFood #DateNightIdeas #TravelBites
