🇺🇸 Boston vs. Atlanta: My Heart Stays in the South 🌆
Boston is great, but Atlanta remains one of my favorite cities in the US—at least its downtown is still walkable and lively! 😉 ☕ Tatte serves coffee above average, 🦞 Raw34 offers solid dishes, though Quincy Market’s buttery lobster roll holds its own too! 🏛️ My favorite museum? The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum—I could spend three hours wandering slowly. While I’ve been to the MET and the British Museum, the MFA Boston was optional for me. Its collection is impressive, especially the Japanese and Korean art, but my heart belongs to this piece: Lime Green Icicle Tower 🌿. 🚶♂️ The Freedom Trail is well-marked and easy to follow—super tourist-friendly! Too bad the strong winds gave me a headache today 🌬️. As the oldest major city in the U.S., Boston retains a European architectural charm. Walking its streets, especially by 4:30 PM when it’s already dark, often made me feel like I was in London. 🎓 Harvard’s campus feels very old-school, MIT next door is full of tech vibes, and BU gave off a more relaxed atmosphere—but then again, that’s just from a tourist’s perspective. Still, when it comes to living? I’ll always prefer Atlanta, where I’ve settled down. While y’all are still wearing shorts on the tennis court 🎾, I’m here in Boston, wrapped in a puffer coat, braving the wind ❄️. Two or three days are plenty to explore Boston. Heading back tomorrow! 👋 #LifeInTheUS #AtlantaLife #Atlanta #Boston #BostonLife
