Later, Marriott rebranded it as a Renaissance, but in 2024, it was beautifully restored inside while keeping its historic exterior and reclaiming its original name: Hotel Cleveland. 📲 Fun detail: The lobby walls have NFC chips—scan them with your phone to explore the hotel’s history! 2️⃣ The Room I used a Marriott certificate to book their largest suite—an 80m² corner unit with triple exposure and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Public Square 🏙️. The room (type X12) is filled with warm lighting, elegant artwork depicting early Cleveland, and high-quality furniture. ⚡ Modern touches like wireless charging and a huge smart TV 🖥️—rare finds in U.S. hotels! The bedroom has windows on two sides and another TV. 3️⃣ Breakfast Experience I didn’t expect to rave about breakfast, but here we are! 🍳 It’s full-service: you’re seated by the window, offered tea/coffee, and handed a paper menu. The restaurant is open to the public, so prices are listed—but if your rate includes breakfast, everything is FREE! I enjoyed ordering without looking at prices 😜. My spread was worth $42—covered by the breakfast credit.
