🇺🇸 First Meal in Las Vegas – Raku 😋 Left Satisfied!!
Called right at 5 PM to book a table — got a spot and headed over. The space is cozy with limited seating, but they have several private rooms. Almost no misses — very happy with the meal! Prices also seemed about 20% cheaper than LA? ⭐️ Signature Foie Gras Rice — Absolutely loved it! 😍 Fills the void for us Californians who can’t easily get foie gras. Only $3 more than a skewer — highly recommend this over skewers. Eating it with veggies and rice makes it less heavy. ⭐️ Cold Appetizer: Poached Egg with Uni and Ikura Not a huge fan of raw yam texture, but the seasoning and combo were great overall. ⭐️ Yakitori — Almost all hits, reordered several: Wagyu Beef with Wasabi / Beef Skirt / Pork Cheek / Okra / Mushroom / Scallop But the grilled beef liver was a bit gamey, and the tenderloin was soft but not mind-blowing. ⭐️ Oyako Don (Chicken & Egg Rice Bowl) — The kid loved it, not too salty 😊😘 🍮 Green Tea Crème Brûlée to finish — so good! On my second visit, also tried: Tofu / Bacon-Wrapped Enoki Mushrooms / Grilled Duck / Fluffy Cheesecake — all recommended! The shrimp was just okay — maybe I’m not a shrimp skin fan. #LasVegas #VegasRestaurants #VegasEats #LasVegasTravel #LVFoodFinds #LifeInNorthAmerica
