🇺🇸 First Time in NYC: Days 3 & 4 | Exploring + Food Journey

📍Day 3 – City Icons & Sweet Treats 1️⃣ NYU & Washington Square Park Started at 🚇 NYU, visited the historic Triangle Shirtwaist Factory building 🏛️—a site with a profound story. Strolled through Washington Square Park—morning vibes with pigeons, piano tunes, chess games 🎹, and a dog park 🐕. The autumn foliage was stunning—yellows, reds, a true East Coast masterpiece 🍂. 2️⃣ Grand Central Terminal A 100+ year-old Beaux-Arts masterpiece! Felt like stepping into a movie scene 🎬. Absolutely breathtaking ✨. 3️⃣ NY Public Library Neoclassical beauty, over a century old 📚. Explored the gorgeous reading rooms, café, and gift shop. One of the world’s most beautiful libraries—well-deserved! 4️⃣ K-Town Lunch & Treats Tried BCD Tofu House—just okay, not a must. Grabbed a $10 tanghulu 🍡—fun but pricey! Sipped Machi Machi 🥤—Jay Chou’s fave! Cheers to that 📸. 5️⃣ Time Square & Desserts I Am Donut? 🍩 – A Japanese brand, not too sweet, perfect for Asian taste buds. A bit pricey at ~$7 but worth it! Bibble & Sip 🍵 – Matcha puff was decent! 6️⃣ Roosevelt Island Tram at Dusk Took the $3 sunset tram 🚠 over the East River. Views of lit-up Manhattan = pure magic 🌉. Highly recommend! 📍Day 4 – Heading Home Caught the train from NY Penn Station → Newark Airport ✈️. Smooth ride with the AirTrain to my terminal. 📝 Trip Takeaways ✅ November = chilly! Pack a light puffer or warm coat 🧥 ✅ Comfy shoes = non-negotiable 👟 ✅ Stay near Times Square for easy access to night views 🌃 ✅ Stay alert in crowds & on subways—but don’t believe the hype, it’s manageable! ✅ Skip street hot dogs 🌭 ✅ Chinatown = food heaven 🥢 ✅ Avoid "luxury" goods from street vendors—they’re fake! 🚫👜 #NYC #NYCTravel #FirstTimeInNYC #NYCFood #NYCGuide #WashingtonSquarePark #GrandCentral #MachiMachi #NYCSkyline #TravelTips
