🇺🇸 Fun Beyond Supermarkets
My favorite hobby? Hunting for vintage and secondhand gems across the city! I went from hanging out in Hangzhou… to thrifting all over the U.S. 😂 Here’s my curated list of must-visit thrift stores in Orlando: ⌛️ Deja Vu Vintage Store A lovely grandma’s little shop full of stories and charm 🧵✨ Strong vintage vibes with lots of unique jewelry. She even spent over 20 years building a rotating jewelry cabinet! 💍 ⌛️ Orange Tree Antiques Mall A massive collective with dozens of mini-shops inside 🧸🪑 Perfect for antique toys and furniture. Each booth is carefully styled — you could easily spend a whole afternoon here. ⌛️ Avalon Exchange The cool kids’ spot! 👗🕶️ Lots of secondhand clothes, apparently many UCF students donate here. Sometimes you score really great pieces! ⌛️ OMG! Thrift Like a budget version of Goodwill — a giant warehouse of pre-loved clothes. You might find surprises if you dig patiently! 👚📦 ⌛️ Etoille Boutique A curated vintage boutique 💼✨ Stopped by once — the owner puts great care into selecting and displaying items. Prices are a bit higher, but it’s worth a look. ⌛️ Dechoes Not highly recommended — feels a bit dated and the selection/pricing isn’t the best. Only go if you’re passing by. 🚶♀️❌ ⌛️ Funk’s Vintage Clothing Sometimes they sell clothes by weight! 🧢⚖️ More menswear options. Feels like a little clothing warehouse — stop by if you’re downtown. 🕰️🕰️🕰️ I love the process of piecing together “little treasures” to create something new. It’s beautiful to think that every item has its own story and meaning… And through recycling, these stories continue. ♻️❤️ #LifeInOrlando #AmericanLife #Orlando #Thrifting #VintageStyle #SecondhandFinds
