Craving some real Sichuan flavor lately? I finally visited Pepper Twins, and wow — it did NOT disappoint! Every dish packed a punch — numbing, spicy, tangy, and deeply satisfying. Here’s what we tried: 🥩 Fu Qi Fei Pian (Husband & Wife Lung Slices) A decent start! Mild on the spice, aromatic but not mind-blowing. Great intro for those easing into Sichuan heat. 🌶️😌 🍋 Suan Tang Fei Niu (Sour Soup with Fatty Beef) – MVP! 🏆 Served in a HUGE bowl! Tangy, slightly spicy, and loaded with tender beef slices 🥩, wood ear mushrooms, bean sprouts, enoki, vermicelli, and pickled veggies. Super appetizing and perfect with rice — an absolute must-order! 🍜 Mao Kaoya (Duck in Spicy Broth) – New on the Board! ✍️ A handwritten special we couldn’t resist! Spicy broth with potato slices, lotus root, luncheon meat, instant noodles… and tender duck! Fiery but addictive — duck held up well in the heat. 🦆🔥 🍲 Suan La Tang (Hot & Sour Soup) – Surprisingly Authentic! The closest I’ve had to the real deal in Houston. Packed with tofu, bamboo shoots, and black fungus — perfectly balanced and comforting. We couldn’t stop sipping! ❤️ ✅ Final Take: Pepper Twins is a go-to for Sichuan lovers — generous portions, bold flavors, and solid service. Perfect for gathering with friends and sharing a fiery feast! 📍 Pepper Twins 3915 Kirby Dr, Houston, TX 77098 💬 Got more Sichuan must-tries in Houston? Drop your recs — I’ll take one for the team and try them all! 😉 #HoustonEats #SichuanCuisine #SpicyFood #HoustonFoodie #PepperTwins #HotAndSourSoup #AsianEats #HoustonLife #FoodReview #HoustonDining
