πΊπΈ How to Explore NYC? (Part 2) A Citywalk in the Wall Street Area!
Recently, I've been so engrossed in work that I've got a backlog of content to share! Following our previous tour of Manhattan's West Side, this time, let's dive into the classic financial district. Let's go! πΆββοΈπΆββοΈ π Wall Street π¦ The legendary Wall Street, where the American gold rush dreams began, still faintly echoes with its past glory. β€οΈ Charging Bull π (P3) The iconic symbol of a bull market! Who doesn't love a lucky bull? π₯° Touching this bull on Wall Street is like touching the prosperity of the stock market. Nowadays, everyone who touches it hopes for good luck and wealth! So, there's always a long queue. I was lucky this time and didn't have to wait long to snap a photo with the bull. I'm super satisfied! πΈβ¨ 𧑠New York Stock Exchange (P4-6) ππ I happened to be there on the day of a company's IPO celebration! πΎ βοΈ Blue Bottle Coffee (P7) ππ₯€ I stopped by for a cup at this trendy little Blue Bottle Coffee spot. The quality was great! π Definitely worth a try. π Statue of Liberty Viewpoint π½ From the NYSE, it's just a 12-minute walk to the viewpoint. There are now lots of fences along the river, but you can still enjoy the view and take photos. If you're lucky enough to be there on a sunny (dusk) like me, you'll capture the golden sunset π (shining on you). It's a beauty that's hard to describe, with a touch of divine grace. π Here's a tip: You can take a bus from anywhere downtown to State St station and follow the locals to catch the regular ferry β΄οΈ that passes by Liberty Island. You'll get a clear view of the Statue of Liberty π½ and take beautiful photos. If you don't need to go on the island, this option is more cost-effective than a sightseeing cruise. π©΅ 9/11 Memorial Pools & Memorial & Museum (P10-11) ποΈπ After enjoying the view of the Statue of Liberty, continue walking for 20 minutes to reach the 9/11 Memorial. It's a solemn place dedicated to those who rest in peace. Surrounded by towering skyscrapers, it now has a very modern look. π Oculus World Trade Center (P16-17) ποΈπ¬ Just a 5-minute walk away is the large shopping mall at the World Trade Center. It's stunning! During Christmas, there's even a ski slope. Standing high up and taking in the view is breathtakingly beautiful. You can also grab a bite here. I chose Shake Shack, a place I've heard so much about. π About Shake Shack (P17) ππ₯ Ten years ago, I heard everyone queuing up for their burgers, said to be the best in the US. I have to admit, their branding is top-notch! I tried the avocado bacon burger, which was good, but the rest was just okay. π Next up: Midtown! We'll be visiting the Empire State Building, Times Square, and more! Stay tuned! ποΈπ #NYCTourism #NewYork #CityExplorer π½πΆββοΈπΆββοΈ
