🇺🇸 LA's Affordable Michelin: Luv2eat – Tasty But Not Extraordinary
Just my personal opinion! It’s good! But not "drive an hour in rush hour" good. 😅 📍 6660 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028 🅿️ Free parking available Reservations: Walk-ins only. I arrived around 5:40 PM on a weekday—no wait! 🦀 Pucket Style Crab Curry Soup ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ • I got the shell-free version. Tastes like a regular curry, but the noodles it comes with really elevate it! Makes it feel totally different from usual curry rice—worth ordering. 🥩 Moo Ping (Grilled Pork Skewers) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ • Yum 😋! But HUGE—I totally misjudged the size. Three of us couldn’t finish all we ordered. Flavor is similar to "Crying Tiger"—sweet and savory. 🍜 Jade Noodle 3 BBQ ⭐️⭐️ • Pretty overrated. The green veggie noodles look nice, but the meat doesn’t compare to Cantonese-style BBQ like char siu or roast duck. Also a bit tough—not recommended. 🥥 Tom Kha Soup (Coconut Version) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ • Tom Yum with coconut milk—just okay. Ordered mild and it had no spice (maybe the coconut neutralized it). Next time I’d go for the regular Tom Yum. 🥬 Papaya Salad ⭐️⭐️⭐️ • Standard Thai restaurant level—sweet, sour, and refreshing, but nothing special. 👛 Price per person: 40–50 (we over-ordered). With reasonable ordering, it should be under 40. So yes, it’s affordable for a Michelin spot. But as a Michelin restaurant, it didn’t leave a strong impression. I’d rather go to a Thai spot closer to home (I’ll recommend one next time!). Still, if you’re nearby or traffic’s light, it’s a solid try 👌.
