🇺🇸 LA | Came for Three Little Toasts, Stayed for Everything Else! 🥞

📍 Camelia 1850 Industrial St, Los Angeles, CA 90021 I came for the famous three mini toasts — but ended up loving every single dish! 🤤 Finally, a restaurant in DTLA (after Camphor and Bestia) that I’d happily visit again and again. The vibe is intimate and speakeasy-chic — perfect for groups of 2 to 6. While the drink menu isn’t huge, it’s perfect for casual sips. Service was smooth and well-paced — even on a busy Friday night, we never felt rushed. 🍽️ What We Loved: 1️⃣ Uni Otoro Toast, Crab Toast, Chicken Liver Toast Three stunning little bites — plate them separately and you’ve got a Michelin-star experience 😉 Eat in this order: Crab → Uni Otoro → Chicken Liver — the flavors build beautifully! The Chicken Liver Toast was the surprise star — sweet and tangy jam paired with silky liver. Incredible! 2️⃣ Forgot the Name But… An innovative mushroom soup with flaky pastry! Not heavy like the classic creamy version — this one’s bright and slightly tangy. Topped with chewy mushrooms — so good! 3️⃣ Seafood Risotto A solid choice — bright and zesty! 4️⃣ Spaghetti Bolognese Even better than the risotto! Rich, savory, perfectly seasoned. If you only have room for one carb — go for this! 5️⃣ Duck Frites I’m not a duck person, but my friends raved about it! 6️⃣ New York Steak Good, but not as creative as the starters. By this point, I was too full to fully appreciate it. Maybe save room if you’re a steak lover! #CameliaLA #FrenchJapaneseFusion #DTLAEats #HiddenGem #FoodieReview
