🇺🇸 Las Vegas|A Shocking Disappointment 😅
Guy Savoy Las Vegas I just returned from dining at the original Paris location, and after trying the Vegas branch, I'm seriously questioning if there's any real connection between the two. What a terribly disappointing meal... 😔 The opening course featuring king crab was plated with zero effort—so unattractive! 🦀 The crab meat was shredded and almost nonexistent in flavor. And the American oysters? Completely lacking the plump, sweet freshness of French oysters. 🦪 The lobster dish was poorly executed—the meat was tough and rubbery, with unappetizing residual protein on the surface. It felt like the kitchen didn’t even care. 👍🏻 The black truffle risotto was basically soup with rice—the sauce was nowhere near reduced properly. That said, the seasoning was acceptable, making it one of the few edible dishes of the night. 🍚 The meat courses were a visual disaster. The chicken and duck were dry and chewy, like something reheated from the day before. The duck liver still had tendons, and while the pigeon was tender, it was far from impressive. 🍗 Dessert was a small saving grace—the coconut offering was rich and smooth with a pleasant texture. But even that wasn’t good enough to make up for everything that came before it. 🥥 Overall, deeply disappointing. I heard this place had a great reputation around 2021, but the current standard—whether in presentation, flavor, plating, or service—doesn’t even come close to one-tenth of the Paris experience. Dated and overrated. 👎 Have you ever had a fine dining experience that fell completely flat? 🍽️😞 Or do you think Vegas high-end restaurants are overhyped?
