🇺🇸 Las Vegas Hotel Review: Delano Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay! 🏨✨

Let me kick things off by talking about my stay this month at the Delano Hotel. ⭐ Star Rating: 5 stars 🏢 Affiliation: MGM Resorts International 📍 Location: Southernmost end of the Las Vegas Strip This hotel shares the same property as Mandalay Bay. Important note: Check-in is at the main front desk in Mandalay Bay. You could think of the Delano tower as Mandalay Bay’s VIP wing. 😎 I had a complimentary 3-night stay through a casino offer (comped). I arrived pretty late, around 8:30 PM, and the front desk agent said they were out of standard rooms… so they automatically upgraded me to a suite! 🎉 I was pretty happy—and since it was offered without me asking, I didn’t feel the need to tip for the upgrade. 👍 The Pros: • Clean, luxurious, and quiet. • Staff are polite and professional. • Parking is close to the hotel entrance. • Easy taxi access—just walk out near those epic 100-million-year-old rock formations (see last photo) and you’ll find taxis waiting. 🚖 👎 The Cons: • Limited dining options right downstairs. • Not the most convenient for backpackers or those relying only on walking. • The casino on the lower level isn’t very lively. • No microwave in the room. 🎭 Entertainment & Features (shared with Mandalay Bay): • A pool with a real sand beach 🏖️ (Delano also has its own pool area). • MJ (Michael Jackson) live tribute shows! • An aquarium 🐠 • Walking distance to the famous “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign! 📸 🚆 Area Transportation: • There’s a tram that connects to the Luxor and Excalibur hotels—all under the MGM umbrella. • You can also walk to them via indoor hallways. • An underground tunnel leads west to Allegiant Stadium (where the Super Bowl was held this year!). 🏈 This room type usually goes for $400+ per night.
