Spent 3 days & 2 nights over Independence Day at Rio and The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino. Here are my thoughts: Due to the holiday, prices for both were 2-3 times higher than usual. 🏨 Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino Overall, feels old and dated 🏚️ Located off the Strip β€” requires driving πŸš— Free parking πŸ…ΏοΈ Basic dining options β€” had lunch at the Cantonese restaurant on the first floor πŸ₯’ Pool area is decent but windy, and the water gets chilly at night πŸŠβ™‚οΈπŸŒ¬οΈ 🏨 The Venetian Resort Not brand new, but much nicer than Rio in terms of rooms and facilities ✨ Prime Strip location β€” perfect for city walks (if you can handle the heat! β˜€οΈ) Parking: $20, but free in/out access with room key πŸ—οΈ A self-contained destination β€” luxury to affordable shopping, Chinese, Italian, French restaurants, you name it! πŸ›οΈπŸπŸ₯ Three pool areas: 4th floor main pool (open 8 AM–7 PM) 10th floor South Tower pool (open until 10 PM) Also accessible to Palazzo pools via indoor walkway On busy holidays, claim your spot early! ⏳ If budget isn’t a concern, The Venetian is definitely the way to go! πŸ’― #LasVegas #VegasHotels #TravelReview #TheVenetian #RioLasVegas #PoolDays #StripLife
