🇺🇸 Las Vegas Round 2 – Day 2

The hotel gave us a $60 breakfast credit, but at Cosmopolitan there weren’t many options. Didn’t feel like Wicked Spoon, so we went to Eggslut 🍳. Waited about 10 minutes around 10 AM. The burger was tasty, but I actually loved the bread dipped in mashed potatoes and soft-boiled egg more! 🥖🥔😋 The Hawaiian ABC Store has opened in Vegas — their canvas bags are cute but not cheap! Bought a slot machine keychain just for fun 🎰👜. There’s a Netflix-themed restaurant inside MGM. Tried their most “interesting” item — the popcorn chicken was surprisingly juicy and delicious 🍿🍗. Bought the Go-City Pass (2 days) and picked a few activities. One was the roller coaster at New York-New York Hotel 🎢. One big climb, one huge drop… then I closed my eyes and blacked out for the rest of the ride 😵💫. Three years ago, we tried Gordon Ramsay Burger, and my husband wanted to go again. I wasn’t in a burger mood, so I ordered a chicken salad. The chicken was dry and bland — honestly, Costco rotisserie chicken is better 🐔😬. When the cute server asked “How’s your meal?” I said the chicken was “very dry” 😅. He was super nice and comped my salad — so of course I left a bigger tip as thanks! 💵🙏 Weekend stays on the Strip are expensive, so we switched to a cheaper hotel farther out: The STRAT 🏨. The Go-City Pass included THE ROUGE show, which is performed in that hotel’s theater. It was my second time seeing it — the choreography is almost the same as three years ago, but I still love it! Our comped tickets were way in the back, but the theater’s small, so it was fine 🎭✨. After the show, we went up to the top of the tower to see the night view (also included in Go-City Pass).
