🇺🇸 Madison | Monsoon Siam Experience 🍛

I’ve ordered from Monsoon Siam via DoorDash several times for my research group meetings, and it’s been some of the best Thai food I’ve had in Madison! Their Pad See Ew and Pad Thai are only $11.99 – a rare and awesome price for this area 😍 But today I tried dining in, and honestly… it was a bit of a reality check 😅 On the positive side: Their food is still among the top Thai restaurants in Madison. We ordered the Thai Table – creative, thoughtfully plated, and visually appealing. The fried rice had great wok hei (that smoky wok flavor!), and the fried chicken and beef were nicely textured. However: Everything was way too salty 🧂. After the green papaya salad, I drank a whole glass of water! The Panang Brisket was a letdown – mostly fatty and chewy parts, not the best cut. The biggest surprise? On DoorDash, the Panang Beef is $11.99, but dine-in version (same portion + one egg) was $18! 🥚💸 Usually delivery apps are more expensive due to fees, but here dine-in >> DoorDash? Unusual.
