🇺🇸 Milwaukee Travel Guide | Miller Brewery Tour
As an international student in the American Midwest, embracing the local drinking culture is a must! 🍻 So when I traveled to Milwaukee, visiting a brewery was at the top of my list. I’d always wondered what beers Miller actually produced—turns out they make Miller Lite, Blue Moon, Coors, and more! Highly recommend this budget-friendly tour—just $10 for: A 1-hour guided tour A free bottle opener at the end Basically, it’s almost free! 💸 🎭I went early (the first tour at 10:20 AM) and had a small group—just me and four friendly older folks from California. The tour felt like walking through a museum, with fascinating stories about the brewery’s history, how beer was stored and brewed in the past, and a glimpse into modern industrial production.🌳💧 At the end, you get to choose 4 beers from their lineup. Honestly, these mass-produced American lagers aren’t my favorite—they taste pretty standard, like what you’d find in any supermarket. But for $10, you can’t complain! It’s not fair to compare them to craft beer.🏘️💖 The gift shop is fun to browse, but prices are… steep 💸. The Californians bought tons of overpriced shirts—rich white people things, I guess? Since I’m not a hardcore Miller fan, I just looked around. Maybe I’ll splurge on merch when I visit Fidens in New York someday!⛽🔥 #UWMadison #InternationalStudent #Milwaukee #BreweryTour #TravelUSA #WisconsinBeer #MidwestLife #StudyInTheUS
