🇺🇸 Napa Valley|3 Wineries Worth a Second Visit 🍷
Just revisited Napa Valley and want to share my thoughts on three wineries I returned to: 1️⃣ Sterling Vineyards Their cable car ride is a major highlight 🚡! We chose the $55 tasting, which included 5 wines: 2 whites + 3 reds. While their Cabernet is good, I was especially impressed by a lesser-known white variety — Malvasia. It’s a dry wine with distinct floral and fruity notes, and a pleasantly sweet aftertaste. 🌸🍊 2️⃣ Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars Famous for their Cabernet Sauvignon that won first place in the legendary 1976 Paris Blind Tasting! 🏆 We tried the $95 tasting with 4 wines. Their two flagship Cabernets are completely different due to distinct soil types: The award-winning one is rich and bold, requiring time to open up and reveal its complexity. The Fay version is more approachable and easier to enjoy. Great value with detailed explanations, though there isn’t much to tour. 3️⃣ Castello di Amorosa 🏰 A must-visit for first-timers! This French-style castle is full of charm and makes you feel like you’re in Europe. The tasting included around 5 wines — their Gewürztraminer stood out 🌸, but the others didn’t leave a strong impression. Have you been to any of these? Which Napa winery is your favorite? 🍇 #NapaWineries #LifeInUSA #USWineRegions #CaliforniaLife #CaliforniaTravel #WineTasting
