๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ New Thai Restaurant in Orlando โ€“ Talay (Did We Order Wrong?)

๐ŸŒŸ Talay ๐Ÿ“ 861 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32801 A newly opened Thai restaurant in Orlando (late 2024)! Sadly, we could only try a few dishes due to limited stomach space ๐Ÿ˜… ๐Ÿฆ Goong Mae Nam - $27 Large grilled prawns with rich roe, served with two dipping sauces (red and green). ๐Ÿ“ธ Photogenic, but taste-wise not a must-order. ๐Ÿ Goong Ob Woon Sen - $25 Bacon and shrimp glass noodle pot โ€“ the BEST dish we tried! The noodles looked plain but were full of flavor ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ‘Œ ๐Ÿฆ€๏ธ Kai Jeaw Pu - $26 Crab omelette with rice โ€“ sadly, the crab, egg, and rice feltโ€ฆ disconnected ๐Ÿซค Maybe the crab fried rice (Khao Pad Pu) wouldโ€™ve been a better choice. ๐Ÿน MANGO Sticky Rice - $18 A drink version of mango sticky rice โ€“ cute idea! But it had a huge ice ball ๐ŸงŠโ†’ very little actual drink. We wanted to try Oh MY LYCHEE! (looked pretty and pink ๐Ÿ’–) but the server warned us itโ€™s very strong. ๐Ÿ’ก The ocean projection at the restroom entrance was beautiful ๐ŸŒŠ โ€“ Talay means โ€œseaโ€ in Thai! Maybe we didnโ€™t order the right things โ€“ but the vibe was fresh and modern! #Orlando #ThaiFood #OrlandoEats #FoodReview #OrlandoFoodie #TalayOrlando ๐Ÿƒ
