Jacksonville Downtown isn’t very big, and the real charm lies in the nearby Riverside district. This quaint area is super walkable — especially if you snag free parking at Publix! Here’s how to make the most of your day: 1️⃣ Breakfast (8:30 AM) – Cool Moose Cafe 🍳☕ A delicious and affordable spot! I ordered the Salmon Benedict for $9.99 and bottomless coffee for $1.99. Most dishes are around $8.99–$10. 📍 2708 Park St, Jacksonville, FL 32205 2️⃣ Riverside Arts Market (10:00 AM) 🎨🌿 After breakfast, we parked for free at Publix and walked to this awesome farmers market under the bridge 🏗️. It’s one of the largest I’ve been to! Lots to see: flowers, pet photos 🐾, scented soaps, food stalls, crafts, and even group yoga 🧘♀️. A bit pricey but fun to explore! 📍 715 Riverside Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32204 3️⃣ Cummer Museum (11:00 AM) 🖼️🌷 Just a 2-minute walk from the market. Tickets: $10 adults / $6 students. The gardens are gorgeous — perfect for photos! 📸 The art inside is interesting too. 📍 829 Riverside Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32204 4️⃣ Lunch – S&R Dim Sum 🥢 We tried dim sum here but weren’t impressed — low traffic meant less fresh options. Their boba tea was decent though! Maybe try other nearby restaurants instead. 📍 1661 Riverside Ave STE 123, Jacksonville, FL 32204 5️⃣ Sweet Theory Baking Co. 🍩 Fun and unique donuts! Go early — they sell out fast. By 1 PM, only two flavors were left 😢. 📍 1243 King St, Jacksonville, FL 32204 6️⃣ Quick Downtown Drive 🚗 Downtown is pretty quiet and small — worth a quick drive-through, but not much to do on foot. ✅ Highlights: Riverside Arts Market 🛒 Cool Moose Cafe 🍳❤️ Highly recommend trying these two spots!
