🇺🇸 Orlando Food Review🤔

🚩 [CARAVAN UZBEK & TURKISH CUISINE] 📍 8015 S Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32809 I’ve seen this Uzbek restaurant (very similar to Xinjiang cuisine!) recommended so many times with ⭐️perfect ratings⭐️, so I went with super high expectations… and left just a tiny bit disappointed. 💥 What Was GOOD: 🥟 | Manti | $17.99 We originally wanted to try the famous samsa (baked buns 🌮), but they were sold out that day 🫠 So we tried Manti – the steamed version – and it was surprisingly delicious! Thin dough wraps filled with juicy, tender lamb 🤤💦 Highly recommend! 🍓 | Strawberry Cake | You can pick desserts directly from the display case 🍰 I took this one to go 🥡 so I don’t know the exact name, but… THEIR DESSERTS ARE AMAZING!! 🤩 Super sweet (almost too sweet 🚨) but the texture is incredible – the filling was fluffy like marshmallow 🍬, light like chewy air – so unique! 🍰 | Napoleon Cake | $7.99 Also fantastic 😋 Crispy layers with almond fragrance – a must-try! 😔 What Was Just OK: Their famous mains didn’t meet the hype... Lamb Plov: Not rich or flavorful enough Lagman Noodles: My bestie is from Xinjiang – her grandma makes authentic lagman, and this didn’t compare 🍝🥹 Mixed Grill Platter (beef, lamb, chicken): Pretty dry and lacked flavor, though it smelled great 🍖 ⭐️ VERDICT: Still worth a visit – but mainly for the desserts and Manti! #FoodReview #OrlandoEats #XinjiangFood #UzbekFood #Orlando
