🇺🇸 Rochester, NY | Western Restaurant Reviews 🍽️
✨ Redd Made a reservation for a bar high top—first time here and overall a great experience! 🦞 Maine Lobster Risotto – A must-order! So fragrant and rich. 🐟 Tuna Tartare – Delicious. Tuna is the only raw fish I actually enjoy. 🥩 Grilled NY Strip – Okay, but not a must-try if you’re not a steak lover. 🦪 Oysters (daily special) – Too tiny… one bite and it’s gone 😅 🍹 Non-alcoholic drink: “Don’t Call Me Shirley” – Cherry-lemon soda, surprisingly refreshing! 🍫 Dessert: Molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream – Classic and satisfying. 🫕 Avvino Finally tried this place after hearing about it for a year! 🐟 Starter: Ceviche – Small portion, flavor was just okay. 🦆 Main: Duck Breast – Slightly sweet, served with what I looked up later was farro? Texture similar to baked rice. 🍝 Gnocchi with oxtail – My favorite! Never get tired of gnocchi, and the sauce was rich and meaty. 🍟 Side of Fries ($7) – Portion was HUGE… we couldn’t finish it! 🍧 Dessert: Raspberry Sorbet & German Chocolate Cake – The sorbet balanced the sweetness perfectly. 🍝 Nosh A must-visit every time I’m in Rochester! Their entree menu changes often—this time we tried three new dishes: 🍖 Lamb Shank – I didn’t try, but my friend said it was solid. Grilled with asparagus. 🧡 Bucatini Ragu – I usually love their pasta, but this one was just okay. Topped with corn chips for crunch—interesting twist! 🧀 Holy Cannelloni – Pork, spinach, and loads of cheese… almost like lasagna! Cheesy, delicious, and the cheapest entree. Highly recommend! Have you been to any of these spots? Which one is your favorite? 💬 #RochesterNY #FoodDiary #RochesterEats #WesternFood #FoodReview #StudentLife #Foodie
