🇺🇸 Santa Fe | One Day of Perfect City Walk 🚶‍♀️🌵

Santa Fe is absolutely ideal for a city walk—especially the historic district, where adobe-style buildings made of clay, sand, and straw are everywhere, each full of charm and character. Here are the spots I visited: 🌆 Inn and Spa at Loretto A must-see iconic adobe hotel and a perfect example of earth-toned Southwestern architecture. 🌆 Loretto Chapel Famous for its mysterious spiral staircase—it’s tiny but fascinating! Don’t miss the adorable cat-themed Nativity scene in the gift shop 😻❤️. 🌆 San Miguel Church Boasts the oldest church structure in the United States. A quiet gem with deep history. 🌆 Oldest House in the US You can step inside for free! There’s a ladder leading to the second floor, though it’s not open to the public. 🌆 Kakawa Chocolate House 🍫 Offers unique hot chocolate flavors—their drinking chocolate was ranked #2 in the nation back in 2002! 🌆 IAIA Museum of Contemporary Native Arts A fascinating blend of traditional and modern Indigenous art. Loved the necklace pendants that looked just like the Chicago Bulls logo 😄! There’s also a cool hands-on area where you can make your own Native-style souvenir. 🌆 Georgia O’Keeffe Museum 🎨 The “Mother of American Modernism” has a beautiful collection here. It was inspiring to see her evolution through different styles. Though smaller than the one in Chicago, it still carries that magical O’Keeffe vibe. 🌆 Souvenir Hunting in Old Town I fell in love with all the quirky, abstract crafts in local shops—wanted to take everything home! Sadly, I had to skip the Museum of International Folk Art since my car was in for service 🚗💨… but that just means I have a reason to come back! #Santa Fe #NewMexicoTravel #LifeInTheUS #RoadTrip #TravelGuide 🌄🧡
