🇺🇸 St. Louis Weekend | Wild Animal Safari in Springfield, Missouri

The weather was perfect this weekend, so we took a drive to Branson – a lovely tourist town in Missouri (more on that in the next post!) 🏞️💨. On the way, we stopped in Springfield for food, gas, and a break ⛽🍔. Finally, we got to visit the long-awaited Wild Animal Safari – and yes, we touched some fluffy friends! 🐾💖 The drive-thru safari is about 5 miles long and takes around 1.5 hours 🦓🚙. There was one short section where we didn’t see many animals – maybe they were hiding from the midday sun! ☀️😅 The giraffes are in the walk-about area 🦒👣. Since they’re so tall, you can feed them from the second level of the observation deck. One was super social and loved taking photos 📸❤️, while the other was all about the food – a true foodie! 🥕🌿 Pro tips: Buy animal food at the entrance – we finished two full bags! 🥜🦌 Keep tissues handy and be prepared to wash your car afterward – our windows were covered in slobber 😂💦 Watch your fingers!
