🇺🇸 Temecula|Spanish Restaurant in the “Little Napa” of SoCal
BOLERO RESTAURANTE 🍴 Temecula, often called the “Little Napa” of Southern California 🍇, is just an hour’s drive from San Diego. It has become a favorite weekend spot for our family of three — whether we’re wine tasting 🥂, camping 🏕️, riding hot air balloons, picking blueberries 🫐, or harvesting grapes. Every trip is a joy! This time, I’m sharing one of our go-to Spanish restaurants — Bolero Restaurante, located within the beautiful Europa Village Wineries & Resort. Since I’m a member of the winery 🍷, they curate two bottles of wine for me every two months. That means we visit often to enjoy our stored wines — and of course, dine at the winery’s restaurant. No need to order extra drinks! 😉 On weekends, Bolero serves brunch 🥘. The menu is compact but delicious — think paella, steak, and omelets. It gets pretty busy! On weekdays, it transforms into a fine dining experience. Here’s what we’ve tried: ✨ Must-tries: Lamb Chops 🍖: Served with roasted potatoes — so tender and flavorful! Though the portion is a bit small for the price (~$30+). Seafood Paella 🥘: I usually go for the version with seafood and Spanish chorizo. Though pricey (~$70+), it’s worth it — the rice is perfectly cooked, and the flavors are rich. Best shared between two. Ceviche 🐟: Served with crispy chips — fresh, zesty, and a family favorite! Bone-in Ribeye 🥩: 16oz, around $60+. My kid loves it! ⚠️ Think twice: Octopus 🐙: A bit tough and chewy — maybe skip this one. The winery itself is gorgeous — spread across several areas, perfect for a stroll and photos 📸. Come early, explore, take some golden hour shots, then enjoy a lovely dinner as the sun sets. Pure perfection! 🌅 #TemeculaWineries #TemeculaDining #SpanishFood #SoCalEats #FamilyFriendly #WineCountry
