๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ US Road Trip ๐Ÿš— | 2 Days in Cleveland | Solo Travel

๐Ÿฅธ Hi~ Long time no see! Finally, spring break is here ๐ŸŒธ Today Iโ€™m sharing my road trip experience from Columbus to Cleveland! ๐Ÿ”ธ The drive from Columbus takes about 2 hours. Driving or renting a car is affordable, but you can also take Greyhound โ€“ a flexible round-trip ticket costs around $100. ๐Ÿจ Hotel: Hyatt Regency Cleveland At the Arcade This historic hotel is absolutely stunning, both day and night ๐Ÿ˜ Perfect for photos โ€“ definitely bring a friend! Since I was traveling alone, I had to set up my camera on the window ledge for timed selfies ๐Ÿคณ Valet parking was $39 ๐Ÿ’ธ, so I used a nearby garage instead โ€“ just a 30-second walk away. ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Food: ๐Ÿ”ธ Blue Point Grille โ€“ Highly recommend their happy hour on weekends! Went there on a Sunday night and felt like I scored big ๐Ÿฆž Ordered lobster bisque, lobster risotto, and steak tartare. They also serve bread ๐Ÿž The bisque and risotto were packed with lobster and the portions were huge โ€“ I could only finish half! Best for solo diners or pairs since happy hour is only at the bar. ๐Ÿ”ธ Koko Bakery โ€“ An old-school bakery. Highly recommend the egg yolk pastries! ๐Ÿฅฎ Affordable and delicious. ๐Ÿ”ธ Dagu Rice Noodle โ€“ Try the sour soup beef noodles and chicken cutlet ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿ‘Œ ๐Ÿ”ธ LJ Shanghai โ€“ Their soup dumplings are a must-try! ๐ŸฅŸ ๐Ÿ”ธ Sichuan House โ€“ Pretty standard Sichuan fare. Their small portion of Mala Xiangguo was still huge โ€“ couldnโ€™t finish it alone! ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ ๐ŸŽญ Things to Do: Of course, museum hopping is a must! The art museum, natural history museum, and more are all in one area near Case Western Reserve University ๐ŸŽ“ ๐Ÿ”ธ Classical Music Lovers: Donโ€™t miss The Cleveland Orchestra! I went specifically for Sibeliusโ€™ symphony โ€“ it was magnificent! ๐ŸŽป ๐Ÿ”ธ Scenic Spots: Lake Erie is a must-visit! Lakewood Park is huge with wide lake views โ€“ perfect for sunset gazing ๐ŸŒ„ I left early because I was too hungry ๐Ÿ˜‚ Major regret! ๐Ÿ“ Landmark Photo Spot: Voinovich Bicentennial Park โ€“ Giant โ€œCLEVELANDโ€ sign with awesome city and lake views ๐Ÿ“ธโœจ Best around sunset when the light shimmers on the water. Also close to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (designed by I.M. Pei) โ€“ a must-see for architecture fans ๐Ÿ›๏ธ Thatโ€™s all for now! Hope you enjoyed this recap. Wishing everyone a joyful spring break! ๐Ÿ’– #RoadTrip #StudyInUSA #Cleveland #SpringBreak #Ohio #Columbus #SoloTravel #USATravel #ExploreOhio
