πΊπΈ Weekend in the Bay Area π Napa Valley: 2 Wineries in 1 Day! π·
Flew to the Bay Area to visit friends over the weekend, and they planned a fantastic Napa wine-tasting trip for me! Hereβs how it went π π First Stop: SF β Yountville A charming town near Napa where we tried the famous fried chicken spot Addendum π We grabbed our order and ate at a wooden table in their garden β super chill vibe! The chicken was juicy, but the cooking was just okay. Honestly, their cornbread was the real star β so good! π½ π° Second Stop: Castello di Amorosa The iconic castle winery in Napa β you need a tasting reservation to enter. The castle isnβt actually ancient; itβs a modern build inspired by 13th-century Italian architecture. Great for photos, but super crowded πΈ The views from the walls overlooking the vineyards are stunning though! π· Iβm no wine expert, so I just picked the five most expensive options on the tasting menu Verdict: The grape juice was the best! ππ πΏ Third Stop: Beringer Vineyards No reservation needed here β you can explore even without tasting. Compared to the crowded castle, I preferred this place! It was peaceful, less crowded, and the estate is huge with beautifully maintained vineyards and gardens full of colorful flowers πΈ Perfect for a relaxing stroll or just chilling in the shade. We wrapped up around evening and headed back to the Bay Area for dinner π₯ A perfect day trip filled with wine, views, and good company! #BayAreaWeekend #NapaValley #WineTasting #CastelloDiAmorosa #BeringerVineyards
