🇺🇸 West Coast Road Trip|Las Vegas New Year’s Eve Travel Notes
🏜️ My first time in Las Vegas happened to be for New Year’s Eve! A city in the desert — bright sunshine, dry air. Except for the lack of ocean breeze, the palm trees along the streets made me feel like I was back in California. The architecture feels like something out of a movie set or a simulation game, and the glitzy vibe reminds me of Monaco and Macau. 🚶 My casual walking route: Las Vegas Welcome Sign (classic photo spot, but always crowded) Fremont Street Experience (a lively tourist street with a fun atmosphere) Sphere (the giant screen is stunning!!! I watched Postcards from Earth — highly recommend!) The Strip (the main street for the NYE countdown — beautiful and photogenic during the day) The LINQ Promenade (bustling shopping street with a Ferris wheel, zipline, and lots of trendy restaurants) Flamingo Hotel (tried roulette for the first time in their casino and won $100! 🎉 Odds were pretty good!) 🎭 Shows I caught: Magic Mike (only shown in two cities worldwide — the other is London!) Chippendales (probably the steamiest show — the audience was screaming all night 😂 totally worth it!) 🍽️ Food highlights: Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips (British-style, long lines but pretty good!) Resorts World Famous Food Street Eats (clay pot chicken rice, Tiger Sugar bubble tea, pho — lots of tasty Asian options!) Noodle Nest (lots of Chinese food around here) 🏨 Where I stayed: Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino (decent and comfortable) Rio Hotel & Casino (rooms were really spacious!) 🚗 Las Vegas is also a great stop or starting point for a West Coast road trip. Heading east, you can visit the Grand Canyon and Antelope Canyon — absolutely breathtaking! #LasVegasTravel #LasVegas #Sphere #TravelForExperience #JustGo #WestCoastTravel #TravelTheWorld 🌎✨🎉
