🇺🇸 What I Ate in Napa 🍽️
Oxbow Public Market A lively spot with grocery stores, dessert shops, pizzerias, cafes, spice shops, and restaurants – perfect for indecisive foodies! But the real star is Hog Island Oyster Co. 🦪 Even someone who doesn’t usually like oysters loved these! Planned to eat 2, ended up devouring 6 😂. Fresh, sweet, and so good I went back two days in a row! Ad Hoc Gave in to Xiaohongshu hype… and regretted it 😅. Tried their dinner set menu (changes daily) – pretty average. Brought wine but had to pay a $55 corkage fee 🍷. Next day, heard it was a sister restaurant of a Michelin 3-star spot claiming "America’s best fried chicken" – honestly, McDonald’s spicy wings are better 🍗. Russian River Brewing Company 🍺 If you love craft beer, try their Sample Flights! You can taste everything they offer – though I found most beers too bitter for my taste. Bistro Jeanty 🇫🇷 No photos – couldn’t get a reservation the first day. Had high hopes, but it was disappointing: Mussels were super fishy 🐟 Escargot was okay Not worth the hype, though the French ambiance was charming! 🍁 BTW: November in Napa is gorgeous – everywhere is covered in vibrant red maple leaves! 🍂 #NapaEats #FoodReview #OysterLover #NapaValley #CaliforniaFood #TravelDiary 🥂📸
