🇺🇸 Where to Eat in Napa Valley 🥢🍷
Here’s my foodie recap after trying four popular spots in Napa – all around $50 per person! 1️⃣ Zuzu 🇪🇸 A Spanish tapas bar open at noon (no lunch reservations). Went at opening on Saturday – plenty of seats! (Lines form at night.) Ordered 1 cold plate + 3 hot plates – perfect for two. Their ham is incredible 🥓 – highly recommend with bread or straight up! Food comes out in random order, slowly – just relax and enjoy 😌. 2️⃣ Hog Island Oyster 🦪 Inside Oxbow Public Market – originally planned as a light snack, but it stole the show! Raw oysters > grilled – smaller, sweeter, fresher. Their mignonette sauce is tangy and amazing (even if it masks the oyster’s natural flavor). 3️⃣ Napkins Bar and Grill 🍔 Right next to Zuzu – classic American fare. Slow service but generous portions. Their truffle garlic fries are a standout! 🍟 4️⃣ Ad Hoc 🍗 A famous fried chicken spot (lunch only). Daily changing family-style menu – we got: Yogurt bowl Fried chicken & waffles Pineapple cake The chicken was juicy and tender, but the crust was hard. Buttermilk coating made it a bit heavy – suddenly craved McDonald’s spicy wings 😂. Top Picks: Zuzu & Hog Island Oyster! #NapaEats #NapaValley #FoodReview #Zuzu #HogIslandOyster #SpanishFood #OysterLover #CaliforniaFoodie 🥂📸
