🇺🇸 Where to Eat in Napa 🥢

Spent the weekend exploring Napa and tried four spots after doing some research on — here’s the rundown! 1️⃣ Zuzu 🇪🇸 A Spanish tapas spot that opens at noon. No lunch reservations, but we went right at opening on Saturday and got a table easily (it got busy by dinner though!). We ordered one cold plate and three hot ones — perfect for two. The ham was absolutely incredible 🥓!! Highly recommend — amazing on bread or on its own. Can’t wait to try more next time. Service was relaxed and dishes came out in no particular order. 2️⃣ Hog Island Oyster 🦪 Located inside Oxbow Public Market. Originally planned as a light snack after winery hopping, but it ended up being better than our actual dinner! The raw oysters were better than the grilled — smaller, sweeter, and fresher. Loved the mignonette sauce — tangy and delicious, even if it masked some of the oyster’s natural flavor. 3️⃣ Napkins Bar and Grill 🍔 Right next to Zuzu — a classic American restaurant. Service was slow, but portions were generous. They put a unique twist on familiar dishes. The truffle garlic fries were especially tasty! 4️⃣ Ad Hoc 🍗 Went for lunch on day two. Famous for fried chicken — you can get a bucket to go. Dine-in offers a family-style menu that changes daily. Our set included yogurt parfait, chicken & waffles, and pineapple cake. The chicken was juicy and tender with a crispy crust, but the buttermilk batter made it a bit heavy for me. Made me suddenly crave spicy McWings 😂. All four spots averaged around $50 per person. Strongly recommend Zuzu and Hog Island! 👍 #Napa #NapaValley #Zuzu #HogIslandOyster #NapkinsBarAndGrill #AdHoc #FoodReview
