๐บ๐ธ Zero-Planning Denver Food Run ๐ฏ
This was a super business-focused trip โ zero plans, zero reservations. Just picked nearby Google-high-rated spots on the flyโฆ only to find out everything good needs a booking ๐ญ ๐ฝ๏ธ 1. Toro ๐ Inside Hotel Clio Went for convenience, but wow โ the vibe and food were unexpectedly great! ๐ Wellness Bowl (breakfast) โ Looked simple, but the quinoa was seasoned so well I finished the whole bowl! ๐ 2. El Five Great atmosphere, amazing city views! ๐ก Book a window seat in advance. Food was okay โ but skip the dumplings ๐ฅ (unless youโre curious like us and donโt mind a culinary letdown). ๐ฅฉ 3. A5 Steakhouse My FAVORITE meal of the trip! ๐งก Beef Tartare Katsu Sando โ So fresh, the bread was crispy, texture was perfect. ๐ฐ Yuzu Olive Cake โ Not too sweet, moist olive oil cake with fresh yuzu, coconut ice cream, and peanut butter crunch. UNREAL. ๐ซ๐ท 4. La Merise French Bistro Another hotel-area gem! ๐ฆ Crab Benedict Crepe โ Savory, fragrant, delicious crab crepe. Loved it! ๐ฅ 5. Olive & Finch A decent brunch spot. ๐ Tried the Mushroom Latte โ still too sweet even with less sugar, couldnโt taste much mushroom. ๐ฅจ Rosemary Kouign Amann โ so rich, half was enough to keep me full all day. ๐ป 6. Blue Sparrow Coffee Bright, spacious, perfect for working! โ Matcha and coffee were solid. They even sell Chinese-style tea and cute merch! Sometimes the unplanned eats lead to the tastiest finds ๐ #ZeroPlanEats #DenverFood #LastMinuteBites #A5Steakhouse #ToroDenver #WorkTripEats
