🇺🇸 Zero-Planning Denver Food Run 🎯
This was a super business-focused trip — zero plans, zero reservations. Just picked nearby Google-high-rated spots on the fly… only to find out everything good needs a booking 😭 🍽️ 1. Toro 📍 Inside Hotel Clio Went for convenience, but wow — the vibe and food were unexpectedly great! 🌟 Wellness Bowl (breakfast) – Looked simple, but the quinoa was seasoned so well I finished the whole bowl! 🌃 2. El Five Great atmosphere, amazing city views! 💡 Book a window seat in advance. Food was okay — but skip the dumplings 🥟 (unless you’re curious like us and don’t mind a culinary letdown). 🥩 3. A5 Steakhouse My FAVORITE meal of the trip! 🧡 Beef Tartare Katsu Sando – So fresh, the bread was crispy, texture was perfect. 🍰 Yuzu Olive Cake – Not too sweet, moist olive oil cake with fresh yuzu, coconut ice cream, and peanut butter crunch. UNREAL. 🇫🇷 4. La Merise French Bistro Another hotel-area gem! 🦀 Crab Benedict Crepe – Savory, fragrant, delicious crab crepe. Loved it! 🥐 5. Olive & Finch A decent brunch spot. 🍄 Tried the Mushroom Latte – still too sweet even with less sugar, couldn’t taste much mushroom. 🥨 Rosemary Kouign Amann – so rich, half was enough to keep me full all day. 💻 6. Blue Sparrow Coffee Bright, spacious, perfect for working! ☕ Matcha and coffee were solid. They even sell Chinese-style tea and cute merch! Sometimes the unplanned eats lead to the tastiest finds 🍀 #ZeroPlanEats #DenverFood #LastMinuteBites #A5Steakhouse #ToroDenver #WorkTripEats
