🇿🇦 Cape Town Food Heaven! 3 Must-Try Restaurants (Just Discovered!)
Cape Town is 100% Africa's culinary paradise (no arguments accepted!) 😂🍽️ (Side note: Recently saw West Africa-based Chinese friends warning tourists NOT to visit SA... LOL! As someone who moved from East Africa years ago with similar biases, arriving here felt like a "country bumpkin entering a metropolis" 🤣 For foodies like me, Cape Town is paradise²!) During my last work trip, I revisited my favorite abalone spot AND discovered 3 new gems: 1️⃣ TTK (The Test Kitchen) 🏆 Africa's top gourmet brand – Not Michelin, but World's 50 Best worthy! Insane value: 3-course meal for R700 (≈¥350 – in Shanghai, this would cost ¥700+!) Vibes: Super friendly staff—we arrived at 6PM sharp (no other guests yet), and every single team member greeted us personally 🙌 Food: So good we went TWICE! Second visit, they surprised us with free champagne 🥂 2️⃣ Jordan Wine Estate 🍷 Stunning vineyard views – Ultra-exclusive wine-pairing menu (R1240/person). Highlights: Each course came with a perfect wine match... except the overly sweet dessert wine (just sipped that one 😅). Food: Beautiful plating, though flavors didn’t quite beat TTK. 3️⃣ Gogi (Korean BBQ) 🥩 Recommended by Hoon, a Korean expat living in CT for 20 years. Authentic AF: Even serves imported Korean rice wine (makgeolli)! 🍶 Verdict: "How does Cape Town have such GOOD Korean food?!" 🤯 #MosquitoInAfrica #ICTtravels #CapeTownEats #HiddenGems #FoodieFinds
